Rear brake caliper overhaul

Hey everybody.

I need help.

The pistons in my rear callipers on my freelander 2 td4 2007 is warn out.
But I cant find them anywhere.
Is it impossible to get?
New callipers is a bit more expensive.

Hope some one can help.

Are you sure they are worn? I am still on the original calipers at 154K miles and they are fine. Cheers,

Are you sure it's not just the caliper guides that need cleaning?
A common problem with FL2 Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Yes i am sure about that they are warn out.
I have had the cailber dissasambled twice.
There is a hole in the rubber boot.

But i cant find any that sells a repair kit.
Only new calibers.

Hope some one can helt.

I've used www.brakeparts.co.uk for bits for other cars before and they list the calipers at about £45 + VAT which isn't massively expensive.

I have no affiliation with brakeparts just a happy customer.

Repair kits are getting more difficult to find these days as they would rather you buy a complete unit in this throw away world, in fact its a wonder you dont have to buy a complete new corner assembly with wheel and tyre.
