2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Stornoway Grey
Fuel gauge problem

I noticed this on my last tank, my fuel; gauge never shows over half a tank, even after adding £65 worth of diesel on two occasions it is doing the same. Any ideas? I assume it is a fuel gauge fault? Warranty job? When I switch the car off the needle drops to the bottom as it should. After doing about 400 miles on a full tank the gauge was sat at 1/4 tank.

Not impressed.

Sounds like a faulty fuel gauge in the tank

I beleive its a quick job to replace

Had to take it in, took 1/2 day. seems Ok though I've not refilled yet.

Should be a warranty job

Good luck ! Thumbs Up
