Changing The Rear Diff Oil

Has anyone ever changed the rear Diff oil?

Doesn’t appear to be a drain plug on mine. Seeing, as there are a number of cases of diff failure reported, it may not be a bad thing to do. At least the old oil can then be checked for contamination etc.

Anyone know what actually causes the diff to fail? (Mine seems to be OK at the moment with 45K on the clock).

Regards,

Chris

The only diff oil plug (no drain plug, just fill/check plug):
