Things I have learnt (that are not obvious) by re-reading the manual.

I am defintely the type of person that reads a manual - although not always before trying to figure it out for myself. As a result, when I do sit down and read the manual, I often move through it quite quickly and skip things that look obvious.

With the technology that is built into vehicles like the FL2, I find that, when I get a bit of time, it is worthwhile going through the manual again - often picking up a trick or two that I missed the 1st time around.

If you have picked up a trick or two - in or out of the manual, feel free to add to the thread.

So .... to kick off,

- Single / Multi point entry - to default to unlocking all locks on the first press, not requiring a second press - this can be configured separately on each remote.. To do this, unlock the vehicle, then press lock and unlock together for 3 seconds.

- You can unlock the tailgait from within the vehicle - press the lock and unlock facia button at the same time for 3 seconds

- Mirror's can be folded in what my daughter calls 'Shy Freelander' mode by pressing both mirror buttons

- If you have a hard time remembering which side your fuel cap is - the arrow on the fuel gauge indicates which side it is located

- HDC speed can be adjusted using the cruise control + and - buttons when HDC is active

- Automatic volume settings can be adjusted on the audio system by pressing and holding the tone button

- You can eject all the disks in sequence by pressing and holding the eject button
