2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Indus Silver

Retrofit Terrain Response/Special Programs

Hello

New here but I post a little over on the Disco3 forum. Have added a FL2 to the LR fleet. It is a base commercial model.

My question - can terrain response be added to a base model relatively easily?

I know a lot of things just plug in, toying with adding radio controls and cruise control to both the FL and the Disco!

somehow I don't think it's as simple as that !!

read somewhere that TR is worth about £4500 on the car value ?? ( new price )

LR want £365 for cruise control, the module costs £35!

Iain

TR is just a way of altering the software for the traction control that all freelanders already have, so isnt much more than a rotary dial and maybe a different ECU, At work

Yea, I know. If I could get it working for a couple of hundred pounds I'd do it. I have it on my Disco and it does make a difference!
