I've been looking at buying a boot liner, to protect the boot carpet from 'mucking paw syndrome'. The genuine LR seems like an excellent piece of kit, but it's price reflects that. The Britpart mat doesn't appear from the photo's to fit the shape of the boot very well.

I bought the official one from LR. I was within $10 or so of a really good quality aftermarket one, and since it's OEM I knew it'd be high quality and fit perfectly. So far, I love it. It fits great, collects all of the sand and muck and can be hosed off with a garden hose and dried in the sun. CAR HISTORY

Even without TurboDans location the word 'Sun' would reveal he doesn't live in the UK. |

I bought a £25ish one - it does the job. Can't remember where I got it from! The money I saved on the genuine one went towards a Hatchbag full boot liner which is a great bit of kit. www.hatchbag.co.uk.

Thank's for all the info. It looks like there are a few to consider, although I suspect my other half has already made my mind up for me..... |

It's funny, every time I've ever been to the UK or Ireland I've had days upon days of sunshine. Perhaps I should move there permanently to give you guys a break. CAR HISTORY 1997 Saab 900 SE 2.0 Turbo 2003 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T 2008 Land Rover LR2 SE 2.3 I6 |

I've got one of those Costco jobbies. Highly recommended, although it doesn't protect the sides or seat backs. garioch43

The Grupen Fuhrer has ordered on of the type Npinks recommended, and linked to. As she liked the idea of all the boot sides and the tailgate being protected from Labrador feathers, as well as the paw prints. I just hope it arrives before our next 'jaunt' in the caravan. (I migh call by CG's place, and hold up the lanes a bit, on my way past.... )
