found a watch

Dropped my phone down the side of my car seat yesterday, it disappeared into a hidden place and as I rooted around for it I found a hugo boss watch Cool

sadly it not to my liking style wise, so I have become all honest and sent a letter to the cars previous owner. If he doesnt respond its up for sale on here for Mr Crabtrees charity

I havn't mention the brand of watch in the letter and if he does read this forum then the watch isnt quite the same as the picture above. but it is most likely his.

wish he had better taste in watches Laughing hugo boss Rolling Eyes what does he know about watch making?

Also wikipedia tells me
"Though he claimed in a 1934/1935 advertising he had been a “supplier for Nazi uniforms since 1924”, such supplies are probable since 1928/1929 and certain since 1934, when he became an Reichszeugmeisterei-licensed (official) supplier of uniforms to the Sturmabteilung, Schutzstaffel, Hitler Youth, National Socialist Motor Corps and other party organizations.[9] To meet demand in later years of the war, Boss used about 30 to 40 prisoners of war and about 150 forced laborers, from the Baltic States, Belgium, France, Italy, Austria, Poland, Czechoslovakia and the former Soviet Union.[9] According to German historian Henning Kober, the company managers were “avowed nazis”, “the Boss were all great admirers of Adolf Hitler” and Hugo Boss had in 1945 in his apartment a photograph of himself with Hitler taken in the latter's Obersalzberg retreat."

but then Merc and BMW both made engines etc for the war, so I guess we should all forgive and forget. At work

Well the watch owner rang today, Very grateful to me. I'm posting it to him along with details of Mr Crabtrees charity .

Interestingly he informed me that my motor ran very well with no problems in the 2 years he owned it. Also that He is now on his 7th Range rover and a puncture last month was his first ever problem with any of them Very Happy At work

I wonder if you would like to hear about that massive oil leak from the gearbox when he hit it on a rock, that horrible droning sound from the rear diff after the wadding and the set of injectors that were replaced after he refueled an entire tank with gasoline and drove for miles before noticed anything, part because the music sound was too loud when he listened AC/DC "Highway to Hell" while driving with 120 MPH...

I see it was a 'Boss'.
