As Scotster has been quiet on this issue, I have made some investigations. The small odds box on the photo in one of the other posts above is standard on the "Style" package, model year 2008. Landrover has confirmed that it will be offered as an aftermarket set beginning of 2008. Part number and price will be available than.

Anyone have an update on the cost, part number and availability of the sliding-lid compartment?

This now appears on the Land Rover parts computer (Morrisons, Stirling), but they have no price or other details. The part number for the Console Cover Panel is LR006924 |

Morrisons had no idea of its existence and no idea of availability.
