Camera straps

Just bought a new camera strap for the DSLR

I found the Nikon one left the camera perching on top of the beer belly Embarassed , so looked for new straps

Came across the Q-Strap on a photo forum I pop on too, which got a discount too Whistle

For the cost compared to a more expensive one I found, it's nice and comfortable, camera slung over one shoulder and hangs waist height and makes it easy for those quick pick up and snap situations

Looks like a knock off of the BlackRapid straps that I use. You'll need to check out the various metal joins as they are all single points of failure that could result in your camera falling. Also check the screw into the tripod mount regularly. They have been known to come loose.

I agree with BossBob, have known two people with Blackrapid starps where the caribiner attachment has come undone and the camera goes flying along the floor.
The Canon strap I have is a pain for twisting, never had one let go though so it will do me.

2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Never had a strap go, but last year I had my camera on the tripod, and was walking down the beach with it over my shoulder... even an idiot could have seen what was about to happen... the release on the tripod wasnt seated properly and the whole lot was sent into the sand... doh...

TP is a good forum, been in and out for years, a few knobs at times though Laughing

I went to Anthony Gormleys, another place in Crosby a few weeks ago, great place for pics, especially on a good night.

Been looking for a new lens, Thinking of getting a 14-24 lens or something in that region, for work, to take photo of interior of houses, thinking it might give a better picture

Pbase.com is pretty good too for ideas and exit data.

14mm great for indoors, makes the rooms look bigger, although don't use flash as it will not reach the corners at such a wide angle. Low ish shutter speeds will be OK though.
