When planning a change I was looking for a tow car. I tried some others but it was only the Freelie that gave me a smile on my face.... 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

The FL1 was too small (but excellent in every other respect), the Discos 1 & 2 both got old and a bit unreliable, the FL2 is just the right size for a geriatric like meself, the drive is a good compromise between car and tratter, it's reliable (!) and so far I love it. Best car I've ever owned (although the Rover SD1 came close). |

Here in America, we have two kinds of SUV owners: "Rednecks," country bumpkins who embarrass the rest of us with their unnecessarily huge vehicles that are borderline-capable of true off-roading, and "cute ute" owners who buy car-like SUVs and never go off-road.

Could have ticked quite a few of the boxes. Did I miss 'because it has a little green oval badge'? 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.
