well had my Freelander for 3 weeks now and the 1st mods happened today, and I'm really happy with the results, I've swapped out the under mirror puddle bulbs, the under door puddle bulbs and the footwell bulbs for some nice white SMD's in my opinion looks MILES better than the yellow glow, and they are much brighter, just need it to get dark now to see full effect |

Hi there, glad to hear you are pleased with the results. On the subject of minor mods, you have probably considered this already. Basically, the standard headlight bulbs are crap and so I purchased some Halfords Ultra Brilliance +120% bulbs and they are superb and have made a huge difference.

I can also tell you that these bulbs made the sidelights look a dingy yellow colour so I bought these as well: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-8-LED-501-T1...4239206787

The LEDs on Doc's link are a straight swap, BUT note the have a + and - side unlike the wedge unit you take out so you have to get the polarity right, you only have two choices, but me I got it wrong , well worth doing 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Do you need 4 of these bulbs? 2 for dipped and 2 for main beam? |
