I knew it was a big place but damn that puts it in perspective.

Here's something interesting: I read in a book (approx 15 years ago) that if we could travel at the speed of light, we could go around the entire Earth 7.5 times in 1 second. Pretty quick but even at this speed it would take around 14 billion years to reach the edge of the known universe. Fascinating fact that I have never forgotten.

Only the narrow minded could think we are alone in the universe IMO. I must say, I do find those documentaries by Brian Cox very interesting. He makes it easier to understand. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Yes, but in the same time the micro universe is equally interesting...
