Last Wed I was hit by a car, the police attended and checked our insurance, mine was fine but they werent sure about the other driver and once they got my details I was told I could go.
Witnesses gave their statements saying that the other driver was totally in the wrong.
I've not heard anything so today I checked his insurance on http://www.askmid.com/ and it says the car is not insured!!

What happens if he is not insured, do I have to pay for my car to be fixed?

I've only had my FL a few months so very unhappy right now

With the police having attended you could go for a conviction and compensation, there is something on the DoT website too, I believe.

Before you panic too much check with the officer investigating the crash. They will have all of the details. Some insurance does not show up on the databases. 08 Santorini black HST.

Cannot Agree more get in touch with M I B A .S. A. P. ..!! make a note of who you spoke to as well time and date and anything to do with MIB,
My case ended up taking over 7 years to come to a successful conclusion, beware of the no win no fee brigade,you will be a new Jar of honey to them ...

If you have moter legal protection ...get in touch with them asap (would NEVER not have moter legal protection after what I went through ...)
