Half height dog guard differences

I am trying to understand the differences between the genuine Land Rover half height dog guard (VPLFS0146) and the Travall ones (other than the price). Can anyone help?

Just the Travall one in grey looks a poor match to the black leather interior and the "feet" it sits on look a bit aftermarket. Equally, I don't want to order the LR one to find it is very similar.

If it helps I have the Travall one, does what it's supposed to, fits in a minute, never moves, do drilling, screws, bolts, can't fault it, picked it up off the FS section for £50.

thanks for the info - much appreciated

I currently have the full barrier from LR and it does the business but is now a bit overkill for my needs - I was concerned the Travall one would look/be a second rate as an aftermarket part.

I will look out for one, cheers

Barriers don't stop dog nose marks on the windows far better to have a proper dog cage.

And have to keep taking it out when you want to put some thing in the back, also don't have a problem with the dogs noses on the windows, if they did it is easy enough to wip off.

+1 for the travall gaurd, quick and simple to fit and quite light.

If you have dark windows then you wont see it, if you dont, then the travall guard will show and wont look as good.

The Britpart half size dog gaurd, is a badged as Travall, once it comes out the Britpart Box. They are about 80 inc Vat, from most LR parts suppliers.

Edit to add: The Britpart No. is DA5801, and we paid 79.99 inc Vat, with free UK delivery, when Travall show the same piece of kit on their webby for 110 pounds

I watched a few used ones go through on ebay for £50+, then (thanks to the top info from si.) I bought a new Britpart version and, as predicted, a Travall one arrived - saving £37 vs going direct to Travall Thumbs Up
