this fault leaves no fault codes in the car i called l/r assist out who did a dynamic test on the egr/turbo on idle speed it was noted that the engine had low presssure maf sensor was checked and no obvious faults found recomended by l/r assist to have dealer look at this dealer confirmed egr valve was faulty it had a new one in late november last year rainy-city

I had a EGRV replaced on my MY2011 and that cured the "cough", "misfire" but I have noticed it has started to cough again. I fear I am about to go to dealer and go through the hassle to persuade them to change it again. What a pity..I was really enjoying the car again, but here we go!

hi how soon after the egr has been fitted has it started doing it again mine started approx 4 to 5 weeks after have you tried using one of the premium fuels like shell ultima and the bp one it may help keep me posted how you go on and how many miles have you got on the vehicle mine started at approx 4 to 5k we need to know how many owners are suffering this problem mine is great up to now but i know that it wont last ask the dealer a question is there a modified egr valve available. rainy-city
