Illuminated? Folding Door Mirror Controls

Her Ladyship is running around in her "company" car and so I've managed to get daughter to agree to photograph the fire extinguisher installation for a forum member.

Whilst poking my head around (inspecting how she's looking after her FL2) I've noticed that on the driver's door mounted controls there are 3 buttons that have an orange illumination feature:the child door lock button (which lights up) and the R & L door mirror adjustment control buttons (which don't light up).

Q: are the folding door mirror controls supposed to light up when you select one or the other of them when using the joy stick Question

Hi

The left and right buttons should light up only after you have selected them, I think they illuminate green, they then seem to turn off automatically. Mine are very faint and you can`t always see them during the day, theres no problem seeing them at night. Hope that helps.

Gentlemen Thank You Thumbs Up

I've just been outside and checked your input, and yes they do light up green. She's had the FL2 for nearly 3yrs now and despite driving it quiet a few times I've never noticed their illumination. Green and bright - but not (as you said sadler32) in daylight.
