apc67, thanks for info on Harwoods. I am same distance from Basingstoke and Portsmouth (where last service carried out). I might have to play them off against each other for next. Received e-mail from Portsmouth dealer today offering summer checks and software update for £10. Then noticed that this would also include a half day LR Experience voucher so seems pretty much a bargain, as the last one I attended was superb. I suppose it is these little things that tempt you into parting with the cash for dealer service. Agree with EYorks that it often pays to keep in with the dealer for when the proverbial hits the fan.
