I know, it was Nikon or Cannon, but i think this deal was a good one, I had a look at one yesterday and it held in my hand ok,

simple guide to things too, so ideal for me

I understand i need a Class 10 SD card with a higher write speed

whats the difference in ultra or extreme, want something that wont corrupt data if dropped whilst swapping

Play.com have some 32gb Scandisk Ultra for £18.99

Nick,
That's a very good price. Just check that it's compatible either in the manual or Nikon website. I aways use a smaller memory card but have several of them as I don't overwrite. I keep them as back up.

I have order one anyway, but looking on the Nikon website it say they haven't tested the 32GB one

But the 8,16 & 64gb are compliant, so I can see why the 32gb would not be Question

Good idea on keeping the SDHC disks, one I'm used to it and not deleting half the errors I make I might start that too Thumbs Up

Delete as you go, if it looks bad on the little screen, it will look terrible when on a monitor, good habit to get into, check the picture, check the histogram.
Maplin have an offer on SD cards at present, dont know what make but if your using them as backups it will get you started, believe me, you'll be snapping everything at first.
