Need to buy four new tyres for our Freelander 2 (58 MY)
Currently have the following on the old girl

Rear
Continental Cross Contact
235/65R 17 104 V

Front
235/65R 17 108 V

Wifes main car and will only ever get wet grass or snow to plough through

Any suggestyions for what I should put on her in the next few days?
If in wrong forum etc please move

I have had two sets of goodyears and cant fault them especially in the bad snow of 2010 and 2011.

Got pretty much bang on 30,000 miles out of each set.

Switched at 60k to 4 Michelin Lattitude tour HP 235/65 r17 104v , Costco was doing its regular 20% off michelins and the total saving was £140 after fitting, balancing, new valves, filled with nitrogen (that last one a bit of a con i reckon but hey ho) versus a full set of goodyears.

Personal opinion on the michelins is that they are quieter and equally as competent as the goodyears so far though i have not had to drive in any snow half as bad as with the goodyears so cant tell you their competence in that but they are M&S rated o they should do ok. They are fine on grass.

But they have just cover 29500 miles and still look to have another 5000-10000 miles in them. So thats pretty good compared to the goodyears with same driver/driving style.

only just got the FL2 but I had two sets of falkens on my rav 4 the first set did 70k and the second set had done 30k when I got rid of it, did really well in all the snow we've had over the last 4 years. I was so impressed with them I put 4 on my wifes CRV when it needed tyres, not that we are fans of 4x4's or anything lol

After 40k and puncture on Tuesday ,time to get new tyres . Goodyear tyres done really well still tread on them.
Ringing round finding it difficult to get same tyre ,seems to be replaced by Goodyear efficient grip. cost £148 ea

Just about to order my second set of generals AT's! Got 32k out of them

Mine came with Continental Contact 4x4 235/65 108V and I put on 3+new spare at about 32000, had 2 rear at 74000 to do away with a feathering noise and now need 2 fronts at 75500.
