What a welcome, what a great bunch of people and what a lot of good food Thumbs Up
CG toiled away on the BBQ and Mrs CG hosted tirelessly throughout the afternoon and I would like to raise a glass to them for making us so welcome.
The wine in the glass I raise to them comes from the prize for the 'best in show' car competition, judged by the critical Mrs CG and when she announced that 'Lago Grey' had beaten the 'all blacks', well if looks could kill Laughing . Obviously a woman with taste Bow down

Mr Crabtree, all thoughts go to Aaron Thumbs Up
I did bring a LR Experience voucher for you to perhaps raffle somewhere, if you could PM me an address I will send it off.

Thanks again to all that made it good.

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

It must be noted that the RRS wasnt entered in the contest despite me polishing the bonnet for the occasion.

The contest didnt involve colours it was more about general tidyness and condition. Mr Pegleg kindly pointed out any flaws in any cars to Mrs CG.
(apart from the white one, that car was by-passed altogether by the judges Laughing )

Mrs CG later took a liking to the ropes and shackles in Tonys boot and decided that he should have won after all Shocked At work

At least that puts it in the same bracket as a 'Defender' - has a useful purpose other than just for 'detailing' Laughing 2002 Honda VFR800
