Leather trim from coach fitters in Surrey/West London | |
When I was striking a deal with my local dealer he showed me several S, GS, XS FL2s he had fitted with leather seats by a local coach fitter. Cost was around £1200 and they looked superb.
The dealer was obviously reluctant to give me the coach fitters name. Does anyone know of anyone who does this?
It seems like a bloody good idea as the factory fit is £1700 and is not availble on the S (I think).

npinks wrote:I think it great that a dealer would sort out the leather coachwork in the car for you instead of the huge amount you would have had to pay LR for the option.
But i can't help thinking what would LR HQ have to say about it.........
something along the lines of wrote:You lost a LEATHER UPGRADE SALE costing £1700 and you paid somebody else to do WHAT
Also, if you have a accessory fitted you get 3 years warranty, does this include the coachwork your "dealer" did?
but then again, some of the dealers were "chipping" TDV6 as part of the sale and LR went up the wall with them surly this is along the same lines
when i first went to enquire about the fl2 the one i bought was sitting in the showroom for sale and had only been there 2 days it was exactly what i wanted apart from the fact there was no leather so the salesman bent over backwards for me to get a guy up from liverpool the next day to get the leather fitted. 2007 fl2 narvik black ,chrome mirrors, side steps, tinted windows,20" kahn wheels,6000k xenon conversion, black leather, garmin nuvi satnav, silver vision indicator bulbs, clear side repeaters.
