Well B**ger me! If I am wrong I apolgise and am somewhat embarrassed. My experience is of social housing where construction standards are always higher than the private sector (unless the homes are built by the private sector for social housing as planning gain) . Is there any mention of insulation in the sales bumf from Miller Homes? Insulation standards were improved in 2002. so your house is probably to mid 90's standards. If you do have no wall insulation then it is worth getting, from a reputable company. The energy Saving Trust website will give advice. Iain Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
