Excellent and secretly I'm sure the police were behind him all the way. It's time the law where these travellers are given 'rights' once on your land is changed, it costs thousands to monotonously go through the legal system each time.

Muck spreaders are quite effective
When i lived in Sussex we were plagued with them coming on to the industrial estate and staying for two weeks at a time.
With damaging effects on the business ! They used to break into the business unit and defecate all round the place for fun ! Censored Censored Censored

More power to Farmer Dawson. The vast majority of us manage to live within the planning , tax and all the other rules. Why should land owners and tax payers have to foot vast legal and cleanup costs to get these "people" to move on.

Sadly farmer's and other upright individual members of the community, local authorities, UKGov, the church, the media and the car-truck-van industry are just not doing enough to rid this blot from Albion's green and pleasant pastures.

Bar'em, ban'em,burn'em, bin'em - the bolshevik born-again boulevard bourgeoisie. Bowdlerise the beggars Bristol fashion.

Smarten up Britain's byways, hedgerows, lay-bys, fields, parks, recreational spaces and tarmacadam- clear out all of'em - times up. Yes no exceptions - all caravanning, and by whatever means - once and for all. The decency of the nation is at stake - the moral fibre of the young is being poisoned.

Blue Peter should guide children to re-educate parents that have strayed. Countryfile must offer instructions on the effective use napalm. Tesco's should be allowed to supply it to all readers of the Daily Telegraph & Daily Mail. And holder's of a pilot's licence be given free reign to use it at will on any vanner they spot down below trying to evade the law.

Good job!, this is a massive boost for all land owners back home. Is it not enough that farmers and foresters have to pay silly amounts of money to the gov, abide strict regulations on how they manage crops, forests and livestock on top of getting very little support when others abuse their property and resources.

good on him, I am happy to see that he was prepared to do something about it and the coppers assisted in keeping him from doing something daft while still achieving the desired result.

Go Brits!

I just don't understand what 'rights' they have to occupy someone else's land?????
