The high pressure pump pressurises the fuel would be more correct, the liquid is pressurised to move it through the system and cause atomisation, compression methods are used for storage.

My D3 certainly had a "water in fuel" sensor. Got the message a couple of times on the info system. Turned out to be a false alarm, wiring defect, sorted by TVLR Thumbs Up

I would be surprised if the FL2 did not have the same feature. Now: 2012 FL2 SD4 XS Orkney Grey
Previously: 2007 D3 TDV6 XS Tonga Green
Before that: 2003 FL1 TD4 "Kalahari" Black

maybe but the water doesnt like being compressed in the way fuel does and can cause damage, pay attention I am a farmer so was messing with diesels since before you even rode a bike At work

I have access to Volvo Aero over here, and subsequently a gas turbine if you have a roofrack.... Whistle admittedly, it is likely to have clutch or diff problems no matter what you put it into....
