I have a MY11 which has now done 32,000 miles. The seats are trimmed in Ebony cloth. I am disappointed to note that the edge of the eadge of the seat bolster is already showing signs of significant wear and before long I expect there to be hole appearing. Are any other owners seeing this wear and, if so, what action have they taken? Is this a warranty job or simply "wear and tear"? I do not consider myself to be "heavy" and I am not a delivery driver, jumping in all the time so the use of the vehicle is not excessive!

I am considering fitting LR seat covers before the situation deteriorates into the inevitable hole. Do these fit well and would that be worth the cost?

If the seat does wear through, is it possible to purchase a new seat base, fully trimmed...or what's the solution?

Not heard of wear on fabric seats but have heard of it on leather.
Usually a warranty repair - although they may qubble over mileage and try and claim wear and tear.
