Only used my hose pipe twice since you lot were banned, but makes me feel happier knowing i can use it with out feeling guilty Laughing

cleaning the plastic, is it dirt or overwiped polish or tar etc etc

or are you meaning a clean finish and last stage product to keep it looking sweet?

bearing in mind my trim is painted, on my old car i used

Meguiers All Purpose Cleaner to clean the dirt, with a soft nail type brush
A pencil Eraser to rub of polish marks that remained
Autosmart Tardis for Tar

Washed down and dried, i would then look towards G-Techniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer if i was wanting a long lasting finish (or wolf chemicals Trim Restorer) but of these would need a IPA wipe down of the trim to make sure its really clean and grease free

So you know, C4 is the same product as C5 (Wheels) C1+ Paint coating (excellent product on wheels, not used it on paint or trim)

Or what i use on my current car GTechniq C1.5 Silo Seal, this can be used on all exterior surfaces (not windscreen) and i find it gives a nice finish on the D pillars, not splashed as much as the lower sills though

The G-Techniq C4 looks expensive for what it is. Do you know what chemical it is?

I have gallons of neat IPA Which is handy for cleaning.

not sure what the C4 is made up of, to be honest i doubt they would publish their formula either

I believe they are a quartz based lacquer, but as i said the C1 was professional only due to the damage it could cause if incorrectly applied as it crystallized to a hard scratch resistant surface, but they rebottle it as C4 trim and the C5 for wheel, which i have used and its still beading and protecting the wifes wheels 9 months on

I need to get some more IPA, got any going spare from your gallons Whistle

They do have to do a safety data chemical sheet whitch gives you a ruff idea of whats in there. The Wolf`s dressing is mainly Naphtha (petroleum)

I do have spare, in 2.5 litre containers. Down south in Cheltenham tho

might be a bit far to collect, unless one of the members wants to courier it up, i assume postage will be quite expensive?

Not sure on the chemical sheets for the C4, might be something on their website?
