I just re read the instruction manual, it does show part of the dash needs to be removed. This is not the case, I fitted a set to my new car last week, there is no need to remove the dash, I gave fitted several, and have never removed the dash... |

Dont worry, It won't break, push the knob and the gater down, hold the gater down, and pull the knob up |

Sorry just double checked, just push gear lever gater down, it will unclip from the gear nob easily, and the nob lifts off |

I think I read somewhere that you have put the connections unit under the pass seat, I would like to do the same, how have you fixed it etc?

i have also bought a splitter from maplings that allows you to plug the sound into the aux socket on the centre console in case the headrests start to bother the kids too much, then they can listen to the movie from the car speakers. here is a link http://www.maplin.co.uk/3.5mm-jack-to-twin-phono-socket-44057 freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold |
