New rubber again!

Anyone have any experience of these tyres?? They fit them on defenders now from new. Was thinking of getting a set for mine as my generals are down to 2mm, generals are good but I like try different brands.

I know I would defo have BFG's if they did them.

How much tread you got left on your AT's?

Those tires are Continental CrossContact AT.
Defender has 16" wheels.
The CrossContact doesn't exist in 17" or 18" for the sizes accepted by FL2.
So they are just for the ones of you that have 16" on FL2...

The rears haven't worn much but the fronts have between 1/3 - 1/2 tread left, i must be pushing it a bit round corners! they are wearing about the same as the conti's did.

Apparently these days we shouldn't rotate tyres, and the best ones should be on the back, so when the fronts are due to be changed i'll prob just buy 2 more grabber A/T's or if BF Goodrich suddenly make my size i'll bin the lot and change all 4.

My GG ATs are about half worn and so beginning to look at some replacements for later this year. I may just replace them but I have heard some good reports on the Pirelli ATR. Not as aggressive looking tread as the GGAT but apparently still very good in the mud and hard wearing:

Good stuff. I have rotated mine so all about the same ATM. Got another 3-5 thousand prob.

The pirellis look ok to. Something less aggressive may be an option
