United Kingdom

I've driven the D4 with the funny dial and 8 speed automatic and also the FL2 with the auto that everyone is used to and there's no comparison between the two systems.

The FL2's system is good, for an automatic, but the combination of 8 speeds, dial and flappy paddles is such a huge improvement on the 6 speed unit that it's actually better than driving a manual Shocked ; that's the best compliment that I can give any kind of automatic!

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Narvik Black

I agree - u dont know you need them until you drive with them. The ability to just snick it into another gear without having to move the lever to the left and remember which way up and down is (because you used to drive a bmw Exclamation ) is great...

I'm hoping my next purchase - be it fl2.5 d4 or BMW is gonna have them! Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints
