2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Lago Grey

Hi, thanks for this. My MY11 has now done 30k miles and i am unsure whether there it is really starting to rumble or it is the tyres. Is the noise obvious, by its loudness, when this develops?

The rumble may be wheels bearings. If it is tyre noise it will usually change with the road surface. Diff bearings tend to howl rather than rumble although noises can be tricky to identify. John

On mine, I had the rumble, but as you slowed to a stop you could distinctly hear it winding down and that was at 20k.
