LR003105 Rear Parking Sensor

Hello Everybody,
Last week I was in London, and I bought the complete kit of this PARKING AID SENSOR, but I was reading the fitting instruction, and there is a problem, in fact it's required to use a 501-123 piercing tool bumper, and I don't understand what is that tool?
I found it on the internet, but there is not any instruction to use it and it's very expensive.

So do you know a fitting instruction, better than the book from land rover?
And is it necessary to use this piercing tool ?

Thank you for the answer

Sorry for the english

Hi chicken George thank you for you answer, i'll try to find that.

edit : It's not necessary to buy all the components from the fitting book like this (501-123)

There is a bit more than just drilling the bumper to mount the sensors, there are some instructions on here somewhere, but on the genuine bumper the holes are made with a special tool and you need to get it right first time, then a short length of plastic tube around 5cm is cut at 45 degrees and bonded to the inside of the bumper, this is then used to mount the genuine sensors in the same positions as the originals.

If you are just fitting aftermarket ones I don't suppose it will matter but I don't think you can fit them in the same positions on the bumper because of mouldings in the bumper. I may be wrong but check it before you attack the bumper with the drill.

Send me a pm with your email address and I can send you the diagram

Hello! I am puzzled by the same problem. My car is the MY2010 with front parking sensors. I bought a new bumper(with no parking holes), I want to move there old sensors. May be you have any instructions or user manuals or should look like and how these sensore's holes move together with the landing slots. Thank you so much in advance!
