Garmin power start/stop

Have wired up the satNav via f5

Mhowever n my 2011 my when the Eco start/stop kick in at junctions etc the garmin senses it as a power off
And goes into e 30 sec shutdown. How can I either extend the shutdown so it's more than 30 secs or indeed stop it sensing the start/stop as a power off

I doubt you can altar the 30 second countdown so it would have to be another fuse socket to plug it into.
Someone would know which one I'm sure. Failing that, you'd have to get the power from the 12v socket - I'm guessing this stays on when in stop/start mode.

anyone? is their an alternative in the glovebox fusebox which wil work like the front power socket (i.e. not cause power down with start/stop)

what about the radio one ? When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car
