Yeah, can't abide the American cop series but loving 'The Bridge', poor Saga is a little short in socialising skills but its proving to be a good story. Also watched the 'Wallender' series and now started watching 'Salvo Montalbano' the Italian cop series, this one has a little comedy injected into the series. |

It sounds good, I'll give it a try, I do think the US has produced some brilliant cop shows though, my personal favourite was " The Shield" closely followed by " The Wire" and the blast from the past " Hill Street Blues" - 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

After the outstanding "Killing" 1 and 2 (no not the transparent American copy cat offering that is akin to being served up imitation Marmite on ya toast - just doesn't hit the spot) the latest Scandinavian thriller "The Bridge" featuring a Danish cop albeit this time a bloke aided by Saga from Malmo is proving to be a disappointment. The tension just isn't on the same scale and the supporting characters and sub plots fail to distract and mislead you in the superb deceptive manner of the Killing. Acting, filming, scripts and locations all scalpel sharp, and Sarah is a cop I'd invite for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper
