32 buckets

32 buckets it took to clean the car today, and it's a crappy job, did not do the roof properly or wheels. The buckets were 10 litres each so that's 320litres of water.

I swear I would not use that much water with the hose pipe!!!!

How the dooooch is that saving water?!!

Oh and the mrs is p!ssed off cos I made her pass the buckets through the kitchen window!

Barton how much water did you use from your water butt?? The problem with the bucket is it can't really be directed well' hence the large wastage!

I have the large 210l Sankey water butt and use a point spinner jet on my drive which lasts about 45 minutes from a full butt.

A fan spray will most likely use more water and this should be what is used for cars although a small lower pressure unit will use less water. Prog rock is cool! Smile

My car is ditched but it is going to rain again Monday and Tuesday so it's pointless cleaning it. I pay to have mine cleaned. Can't be doing with all that faffing. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
