I too pass on my sympathy.

My aunt had a dog which used to have fits - I know how heart wrenching it used to be for her. 2002 Honda VFR800

Sorry to hear this. Sad

I was at infant school when we had a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy called Red. I grew up with him and he died when I was 18. Very sad and I still miss him even though it will be 10 years since he passed away this year.

I actually suffer with epilepsy and a lot of people don't realise how animals can be affected and to what extent.

Max certainly is a handsome animal. I can't imagine how tough it must have been.

You have our deepest sympathy

You have our sympathies, we've been there when we had to have our first flatcoat put to sleep due to cancer. We said we wouldn't get another as it was too traumatic, but we did, and I'm sure we will again as dogs are such fantastic companions. Chin up. Mojo.

Your kind comments have been very comforting.
Thanks to you all.

The loss of Max has meant that his sister looked so sad and lonely, she had never been without another dog. Neither had she had a litter of her own.

So........... rather than let her get depressed, we introduced her to dog below. When the puppy misbehaved, our bitch growled, thats all. And when it cried, our three year old bitch cried with it.

A result I thought, so sod it, I bought the puppy home.
What have i done !!!

Wish I posted this before Nick!

The family have decieded to call him 'Stanley' after the great Stanley Matthews who was a hero of my grandfather, my father not to mention myself; and my son who scored a penalty against the great man!
Stan was in his mid 70's then mind and wearing a suit Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Too right Tony. It already has Big Cry I've started today buying the Sunday Times again for obvious reasons other than a good read.
