yes looking good Mav, do you have it dealer serviced/mot'd, etc ?

My local Vauxhall dealer do the MOT each year, I have known them for years and trust them 100%, and all service and maintenance is carried by the LR dealership who happen to be in the same dealer group.

So I have a file full of LR receipts etc, even things like wiper blades all come from LR. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I know about Hunters wheel re-furb, would not touch it to be honest, they just paint the face of the wheel and don't remove the tyres. So I would not consider doing what they offer.

Collected my car this morning. Asked about the wheel refurb and, no surprises, it is £99 per wheel!! Mine are fine at the moment so wont be having any work done on them. Would prefer a set of 19" rims anyway!!! 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

mine will be three years old next year and needing an mot with the third service.

I'm wondering whether to use the dealer again or not.

£99 per wheel! That is just stupid! You would pay between £180 to £200 for the set by my friend who does wheel refurbing for a living. He removes tyres, dips the wheels, primes and paints etc.

£396 to refurb a set of wheels is a pure rip off. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Very carefully! By hand, but apart from a few brake dust blemishes, they are in good shape so plenty of elbow grease! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Is the Superchips remap worth it? What happens when the car goes in for servicing? Does the LR kit overwrite the Superchips remap with a standard version? 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

It is for sure worth it. Runs much nicer with the map. I simply download the original when it goes in for it's service. LR dealerships only re-write to the ECU if there is new version of software for a particular item.

If this happens, you can re-read the ECU and have superchips modify it again, or you can re-installed the original Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I have been running the Bluefin since Jan 2008 and for about 39000 miles. I had a new clutch in May last year, but this was because of a clutch fault.

But I have not had any side effects. The tail pipes can get a little more dirty when under load, but I haven't got a DPF so they will get dirtier. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

How do you remap the ECU yourself?
