My dash is looking a bit drab, I use a non gloss dash spray cleaner but although clean it still looks dull. Would the gloss cleaner be OTT or is there a 'semi gloss' out there that looks better.
What's your recommendations as its looking clean but a little lifeless at the mo

Werkstat Satin Prot. The best I've found!

I use Autoglym. You get the choice of gloss or satin finish depending on how you apply it. I use the satin finish. John

Dont use the gloss shiny finish stuff, it makes it look all cheap and nasty.

One of our companies make dashboard cleaners and they are the same as the shoe shines, silicone!

OK i won't use a gloss and the 'Satin' seems to be a good midway between the two

Shoe shine that would be a gloss

damp cloth with a weak solution of all purpose cleaner, wiped over and then again with a damp cloth with clean water, that will get rid grime and previous products

then a spray and wipe over with Aerospace 303 Protectorant, can use it on all plastics inside and out, including all the engine bay, by far the best product i have used

Again, reading the spec its also a Satin finish.
Seems to be the preferred choice of finishes, now to decide what to buy.

If you have a small 50 to 100ml spray bottle I could donate a little to see what you think, or wait till Coniston (if i can still make it) and try some on your dashboard whilst they are eating scones

Can I just clarify: when talking about the dashboard in this thread are people including the leather(?) covered area in front of the passenger seat and above the radio/sat nav etc?

I tried some 303 on that area earlier but it ended all streaky and dull. It was quite hot and in direct sun light so not sure if that was the problem? FL2 2011 SD4 XS in Galway Green
