2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver
It's all change....

It's all change and time to move on. We've sold the Freelander and by beloved RS6
and replaced them with a new VW Transporter Sportsline Kombi with 4motion and a
Mini Clubman Cooper S a John Cooper edition.

It's the first time in just short of 25 years that I have not owned a Land Rover.

I may return again when the quality of the product and it's dealers improve.

The FL2 was a 2009 on an 09 GS man in Silver with 25800 miles on it
sold in a private sale £15500

That's a shame to lose you, especially as my own Freelander and dealer have been absolutely brilliant and it certainly gets used hard enough to find fault with either!

Strangely enough, I've come to Freelanders after many years with MINIs, so your site of choice will be:

http://www.totalmini.com/

Ironically, one of the reasons for leaving MINI's behind was the fact that I thought we were about to get a 2nd dog Rolling Eyes

The dealer has been very good (Guy Salmon Wakefield) but very expensive, servicing costs on the Freelander are a joke and don't get me started on the build quality and the bloody clutch... Evil or Very Mad

The Transporter will be my daily ride and the wife will have the Mini.

We should see a saving on running costs, fuel, road tax and insurance.

We are a very outdoors family, I shoot, we mountian bike, kayak/canoe and climb and the dogs
so I'll have much more room in the Transporter.

The only problem is that work gets in the way... Very Happy

My wife has a Mini and I find this forum useful:

VW should do an updated version of the old camper van. I'm sure they would sell shedloads. 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

I would love a late 50's early 60's splitscreen but the Euro encap rating is not all that good Laughing

and that's quite important with having two kid's, well that's what the wife tells me.
