Careful on the goodyears. I drive with a heavy foot, and the tires were in need of replacement at 32,000 miles.

That is contrary to most of the Freely drivers on here, many have reported well over 30k on Good Year Wranglers, mine was traded in at 38k still with 3mm on, the Continetal's I have now I doubt if they will do much more after 25k |

I agree. The conti's don't get anywhere near as good reviews as the Goodyears. From what I've seen, these are well thought of. Time will tell, I guess ![]() |

My original Conti's lasted for 25,000 miles until they were replaced at 2mm all round. The new set up Conti's are wearing at at about the same rate. I'm used to wearing tyres out a lot quicker than this |

Ah, so it's YOU that's screwing up the numbers at the passport control on the border crossing on the Tamar Bridge. They must now think that we've got hundreds more Freelanders in the County than we actually have... Is there some connection here between coming from Yorkshire and having worked this neat money saving idea out?! ![]() Strangely enough, I was in Yorkshire on Friday, racking up yet more miles and importing large quantites of cheese from Hawes ![]() |

one reason why I have just this week placed an order for a new GS. Current Volvo XC60 only manages 13K on a set of front tyres. 2012 GS

That's about what I was getting out of my old V70 D5. The Freelander's tyres last a lot longer than that. Would that be from Saltash? |
