Looks like a trip to the software upgrade centre to me. Mine did this often but as now settled down to once a blue moon. Emilys waiting till 1st service which is not far away. I found that pushing clutch pedal well down sorted some of my none start problems. Enjoy your F/L2 still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit |

Thanks Upnaway, I have since found a related thread with lots of info. My LR dealer is very helpful and I have introduced them to the Freel2 site to help them with diagnostics |

Another troublesome Freelander 2 to add to your list. Returned to dealer yesterday, but troublesome again today. |

I have since discovered that the re-set can be reliably beaten. When the fob is ejected with much frantic clicking, lock and unlock the doors by using the console switches. Re-insert the fob and all is well with no re-set. This works every time. |

My Freelander 2 had the "upgraded software" at the dealership on Wednesday. It failed to start yesterday and today. |

Is there a surefire fix to this problem? Last time I spoke to the dealer they infomed me that Land Rover had not sorted it yet. Also get the revs dropping problem. |
