DOOR MIRRORS

Anybody removed and re-fitted a door mirror? How much trim do you have to remove on the door? Stornaway grey SE auto with 18" alloys

Hi commando just recently fitted new door mirror on nearside if you remove the trim from around the upper window section and remove the screws from the upper part of the door trim and the handle you can pop the door card from the top of the door and gain access to the lower nut on the mirror and the electrical plug socket also I think that mirror operates the temp outside on the dashboard because when I left mine off for a while I lost my reading on the message centre hpoe this helps if you have any problems get back

Just trying to replace my drivers door mirror. The trim round the upper window seems reluctant to come off. Am i being a wimp and should i pull harder, or did you find a knack for getting it off?
