Yep, very much agreed. Showed some real fight today.
Let's hope it's not a one off and good luck to the boy for the rest of the the year.

As you say, Go Cal Go! Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Not only that but

Casey Moaner didn't win the race for a change! Woohoo!
Nice to see a few more bikes on the grid too. Woohoo for Colin Edwards!
Shame Rossi has still not cracked it yet.

Yeah....the new format seems to be breathing some much needed life into Moto GP. Cal for the podium next time out?

I wonder if the Doctor is trying to cure a patient that is already dead. I am however, looking forward to seeing how the Panigales will fair in BSB. John

The Doctor (not the snow groove one)

It amazes me that Burgess hasn't solved the problem yet. His record is second to none and he's as much of a legend as any of the riders. Stoner showed that the Ducati could be ridden but noone else has been able to manage it. It does make me wonder what's going on behind the scenes and just how much is down to Rossi not being the man he used to be. I still hope that they sort it out. As for Cal, as long as he keeps the momentum up a podium is surely on the cards this year.
Its a shame Super Sic isn't with us. I reckon he would have been on it this year. Remember how Lorenzo went through a year of being fast but also tried to break high side altitude records at the same time? He then had a slow period and eventually came back to win the championship. I reckon Marco would have had a really good year in 2012.

Ivan Mauger, now there's a name from the past Thumbs Up
I use to watch him at Grasstrack events in the South West, always a fight between him, Sargent, Coffin and Adrian Kessel from my home village.

Never really got on with Mauger always a bit arrogant, now Barry Briggs was the complete opposite a real gentleman, met up with him a couple of years ago at Sheffield, looked as fit as ever now in his 70s. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.
