Navigation screen size

Does anybody know what is the actual size of the navigation screen fit in FL2?
What is the actual size of the empty space when there is no navigation fit?
And what models do fit in that space?

Thanks JT
I presume the green, yellow and magenta dimensions are the visible screen size...
And this is also the opening in the car’s black plastic cover panel.
I am thinking of installing a Kenwood DNX7200 satnav unit, but it’s external dimensions is DIN2 standart….so it’s unlikely to get into that opening…
Does anyone tried this unit….it has front disk and card loading….

Have you seen the system funsmart put in his FL2

have a look at this thread

http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic1145.html?highlight=funsmart

His system is monitor kenwood LZ 760R GPS & Kenwood KNA G520

Might give you a guide to compare measurements between his system and the one you are looking at

Yes i have seen that installation...
But it's with a fixed screen...DNX7200 is with a sliding front panel and there should be space enough for the moving parts....
i begin to doubt if it's possible at all to fit that unit in the factory opening....Though a local tunig company reckons they can do it Smile

I agree,

Apart from the software it looks just like the factory fit.
