First service?

Hello,

I've just hit 1000km on my FL2. Am I suppose to bring it in for some sort of break-in service?

Thanks.

Yes. You must take it to the nearest bush track, preferably after some rain. Make sure you are able to use all the terrain settings. You must say "Gee I don't think we will make that" and then shortly after "Hmm that was easy". Ensure that at least once you can get the car balancing on two wheels to test chassis flex. On the way home ensure to corner the car hard so the front loses traction, this will engage the rear wheels and make sure they are working properly.

If this is not possible continue driving to 10 000km and take to dealer.

Sievester - you scared me for a minute. I didn't think I'd done that service for a minute.

PS check out aulro.com.au for some trips for your FL2. I've done a few with the GCLRO club and showed the Disco and Defender boys that the FL2 isn't a toy. 2007 TD4 SE

Australia

Change the oil and the filter anyway, it will help the motor later in life.
