Problem: Self Opening Window

A friend of mine with exactly the same year and model (2007 GS) FL2 as me asked me about this problem:

Over the last couple of weeks when he closes the front passenger window - as it reaches the top it immediately fully opens. Whether you press and hold, flick or pull and release.

I tried to get it as near closed as possible and reset the position - but it just always opens when reaches the top.

Any ideas Question 2002 Honda VFR800

After running the end of a ruler in the top channel to ensure it is clear of obstruction, the bible says:
Pull up on the switch, hold and the window will drop.
Pull up again within 10 seconds, hold and the window will drop.
Pull up again within 10 seconds, hold and the 3rd time window should override the 'anti trap' protection.

Might work Confused

I thought it might be something to do with the anti-trap system.
