Unless they had previously covered the slope with Vaseline, I'd have expected them to all climb that hill with ease. It really does say something about the X1 and to a lesser extend the Audi, that they were humiliated by it Shocked

Dry grass can be as almost as slippery as ice Shocked
I would even guess that a Vaseline slope may have helped the X1 Laughing 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

The test was sooooo biased....
And as in many cases, the human factor is one of the most important ones.
So changing the driver that made the test and you may have a surprise... Laughing

Yes, but that driver should undergo the driving licence school and tests again...
Indeed, the LR's TR system is more than OK, but the other systems are also OK if properly used.
Otherwise what's the use?... All cars will have TR... Laughing

it appeared that other than the evoque the other vehicles were stopped mid way and expected to gain traction and move on but the RR was simply driven up

I also wonder what type of tyres the x1 was wearing.

Dont get me wrong i love to see clips of Land rovers out doing others and then i 'show them off' but dont think i will be sharing this clip Whistle freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold

Also thought about what tyres each vehicle was using, but still a big plus that LR/RR uses the best tyres as well as the best 4x4 system and the best chasssis (and maybe even the best drivers as well) Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
