Too true... Instead of "Well done, dear. Very good." ... What I ACTUALLY got was ... "How come you don't pay that much attention to cleaning around the house...?" ...

Be true to yourself. That way happiness lies...

Werkstat Acrylic Jett, took me 30 minutes to go round the whole car, you spray it on, smear it about and buff off, a panel at a time, the shine and protection it leaves behind is absolutely staggering Thumbs Up

Make sure panels are cool, don't let it dry, spread it on, buff off. Thumbs Up

Is this Werkstat Acrylic Jett stuff that good?? Is it better than Autoglym HD which I have been using for some time now.

It's not cheap but it is used sparingly, 30 minutes will see the car done, very easy to use, spray on, wipe around the panel to get an even coat, when it starts to haze get a clean cloth and buff to a shine.
They have other products in the range and without sounding like an anorak, it really is that good.

It will be interesting to see what Hicksy thinks.

I hear GTechniq C1.5 Silo Seal is the one to go for, simple wipe on wipe off, but beads water really well and the gloss is fantastic

It's my next purchase Thumbs Up

I have seen some of there offerings, and use their g-wash, C5 wheel armour (very good product) and I1 interior fabric sealent, on my wife's cloth seats and my coats as water just beads off it

This is a good source for reference as its their section on detailing world, where you can see demos of their products

I've only done 300 miles and have cleaned the wheels twice. (Warm water only).

BTW, the wheels seem to have a slightly greasy material on which could be some kind of protective stuff. Anyone know what? 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech
