Incoming calls via the car kit

Hi, just bought a new FL2 - really pleased but although I have synchronised my phonebook, I don't get the name for i/c calls but just the number. I store numbers in my mobile's phonebook with the international prefix. Anyone else seen this?

If I then go to the missed calls list, the name is displayed.

Hi.
You have to store all the numbers in your phone without international prefix. Mine did the same.

Regards

why?

I use my mobile connection quite a bit, though I haven't bothered to download and synchronise the phone book entries, as they seem to work fine directly from the mobile via the bluetooth connection. This has the advantage of never needing to synchronise anything. So am I missing something here? Rolling Eyes Life is not a dress rehearsal!

My phone syncs with the system

but i dial from the phone, as the way the sync it takes the three contacts under "dad" (work, mobile and home) and saves them on the system as

DAD
DAD
DAD

how the hell am i supposed to know which one is the office etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

multiples

Yeah you're right Npinks, the multiple phone numbers aspect doesn't work so well. I do dial from the car system which is fine if I want to call the default number for that contact, otherwise I have to stop and use the mobile to dial.  Life is not a dress rehearsal!

I have all my main numbers on speed dial, so a quick press of a button on the phone dials who i want, and it fits nicely in the shelf/arm rest on the door and the door handle
