MY11 Tailgate Trim - Will it fit MY10

I have a MY10 TD4 HSE and wondered if the tailgate trim now fitted to the MY11 -> will fit. From looking at it it seems as though it is a direct replacement for the 2006 - 2010 tailgate moulding as it seems to house exactly the same number plate lamp and boot release fittings as before. I would like to update the rear to the 2011 look as it seems a neater look. Any one had a go?

The rear chrome arse piece is possible, but you need to drill the tailgate Thumbs Up

I'm looking to do this job in the near future. Have contacted Dan at Duckworths and he has quoted around £80 +VAT for the chrome trim and primered backmount. I am one of the (maybe) few who seems to like the more updated look! Thumbs Up 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

Last thing todo on my list of improvements, was looking at getting the chrome a Censored e piece pretty soon, but may have to wait a while as my cash ( lots of it) may be needed on more expensive bits for the car Twisted Evil

I was meaning the sport steering wheel we saw recently, when you say already done, do you mean swapped from plastic to leather?

I want one of these, sorry to hijack your thread ASL, don't forget to get a Freel2 sticker for the chrome strip, looks good Thumbs Up

Yes swapped from plastic to Learther, it's the original kind " crinkle finish" new versions nice but quite pricey. Also looked at that one as its really nice, but again price is high.

So only have the rear end to do, I know someone who's willing to drill holes in the Black paint work Laughing
