I just received a front sump guard and rear access ladder from Mantec last Friday. It felt like Christmas! I'm also expecting a rear tank guard. Hopefully it'll arrive today.

I already installed the front sump guard and rear access ladder. I'll post photos when I get a chance. Installed a hitch, stock roof rack, mantec skid plates, General Grabbers AT2 255/60/R18, and a rear access ladder. Also made a hitch-mount for the winch. Looking to install a front hitch, rooft-top basket, and lift kit.

The rear tank guard fitting instructions say you have to drill the chassis to fit.
Try fitting without drilling - I drilled the holes and then found out the original mounting points were fine  Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

187GBP for the sump gard, 273.60 for the tank guard, and 99.66 for the rear ladder, plus about 200GBP for shipping to Califnoria...

Not cheap but I feel better with the parts installed. Especially the tank guard. I've already banged up the tank pretty badly. I had the opposite problem - holes and rivnuts in the back door and no ladder.
Presume it was once fitted then removed. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Thanks for the feedback about the front bar. I have a little unit called an X-Bar which screws on behind the number plate. It is aluminium and allows for 2 driving lights and a uhf aerial. Attaching anything to the front of the car is difficult as there are no solid anchor points. Even the lights being put on the X-Bar have to be featherweights.

@mikehzz - yah, I'm thinking about creating a custom bull bar and drilling through the bumper to attach it to the frame. It seems like a long way in to get something solid And the bumper is very flimsy.
